The Cake and Bake Show

Returning to the line-up once again, the TV personality, chef, author and cookery school owner Rosemary Shrager makes an appearance at ExCel London during this year’s The Cake and Bake Show. Accompanying her are Eric Lanlard, the famous Master Pâtissier and author, and Jane Asher, actress, author and successful baker experiencing the sweet atmosphere of the event for the first time. Fans of the Great British Bake Off can delight already, as three stars of the show pay the visit to the Cake and Bake, winners Candice Brown and John Whaite together with Paul Jagger made famous by his lion made entirely out of bread.
Alongside presentations and workshops led by talented chefs and food industry personalities, the attendees can visit market stands, cake displays and book signings where they might get a chance of exchanging pleasantries with their baking idols. To entertain the youngest craft-lovers a Kids Zone is available, full of chances to ice and decorate cookies and cupcakes prepared beforehand by adults. Those tired after all the baking, sugarcrafting and decorating can take a break at the nail bar where hands can be lightly pampered and then coloured with a choice of dessert-themed polish.
Visitors cannot forget about the competition running throughout the day. Around the World in 80 Cakes is set to find the next big name in the world of cake decorating and all patrons can feel a part, walking beside the pieces of sugary art and judging for themselves.
